One of our favourite Taiwan Tours has to be Yilan Scenic Escapade. Just slightly one hour away from Taipei, Yilan is well know for her lush green scenery.
Wufengchi Scenic Area with its beautiful cascading waterfalls is a top pick in Yilan. It’s a serene place to unwind and take in fresh air. It’s an easy short hike to the top level to get a close up view of the biggest waterfall with its cool refreshing mist right on your face!
Next we drop by for Yilan’s Giant Tree Park which is located in Yilan mountains, a scenic drive. This is a restricted area with only a maximum of 750 passes allowed a day. The 51 primitive junipers and cypress trees are older than 1,000 years, named respectively according to their growing age. The majestic Confucius Divine Tree is said to be 2,500 years old.
The drive up Yulan Tea Garden with its meandering slope is both breath-taking and impressive. With a long stretch of blooming Sakura flowers in spring, it’s a sight to behold. Pagodas for tea appreciation dotted with sight- seeing pavilions offer spectacular vies over the mountain ranges. The fresh crisp air adds to the perfect experience!
End your day with an incredible hot spring soak at Jiaosi hot springs! Take a dip or a foot soak to relax and wind down.
