Itinerary
During the tour you will be introduced to traditional dishes that many locals enjoy for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can also stop by different food stalls and sample foods of your choice, such as toast with kaya, which is a coconut egg jam, Singaporean coffee called kopi and chwee kueh, which is cake made from rice flour and water. You can also check out other food stands for some local dessert varieties. Don’t shy away from talking to the stall owners. Get recommendations and even speak to your guide if you start to feel lost in the maze of vendors.
After this, your local guide will take you through Singapore’s rich history and culture on a rickshaw ride. Enjoy some historic Chinatown attractions like the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum and Chinatown Bazaar, among others. You then continue walking through Chinatown and enjoy the lively vibe of the whole place and even learn a little about the Chinese immigrant community. By observing the locals and living like them for a day will become an extraordinary experience for you to cherish for a lifetime.
