The Druk Path Trek is the most popular trek that offers gorgeous natural landscape of blue alpine forests, high ridges and clear pristine lakes. Although with moderate ascents and descents, the walking distance are not very far apart and there’s time to admire the stunning vistas.
The hike takes trekkers to Jimiling Lake, a spectacular body of water set against gorgeous views of valleys and snow-capped mountains. Be awed by incredible views of Mt. Gangkar Puensum, the highest unscaled peak in the world.
The Druk Path Trek could be done almost any time of the year but the best seasons are between March-June when the rhododendrons are in bloom. Or September-November when the weather is generally clear giving great views of the mountains.
