Panda-Mania
Before visiting the Giant Panda Forest to greet Singapore’s resident giant pandas, you will stop by Singapore River Safari’s for a peek at the adorable red pandas. Their fox-like faces and rust-colored fur are just as winsome and appealing as the panda couple. This is one of the most popular exhibits on the River Safari. Then it’s time to meet Kai Kai and Jia Jia, the celebrity panda couple in a special climate-controlled exhibit alongside the Yangtze River.
Explore the World’s Iconic Rivers
Besides the pandas, you will get to see many more animals at Asia’s first of its kind and only river-themed wildlife park. There are more than 300 species nestled at the park, including 40 threatened species. The largest freshwater aquarium in the world is a sight to behold. You wouldn’t want to miss that, as the $160 million attraction boasts a state-of-the-art design. It is home to several freshwater species of fish, including the arapaima – the largest scaled freshwater fish.
Amazon Flooded Forest
This is the last stop on your tour in the River Safari. Here, you will get to experience the Amazon River Quest Boat Ride that will take you on a mysterious yet interesting adventure into the Amazon wilderness.
